We were a group of 3 families getting together for a 50th celebration. The house was wonderful. Beds were comfortable, house was well equipped etc. perfect location for us. communication with Cottages com who manage it is pretty generic but the owner does contact you directly closer to the time and she is excellent. Very responsive etc.

Valance was a beautiful modern spacious home , near to the seafront and restaurants , and perfect for our family gathering. The home is very well equipped as it the home of the Host. It therefore very much has the feel of being a home rather than purely a rental property. We loved the ‘home from home’ feel. The host Liz was fantastic and was excellent at staying in touch. However, she is aware that the agency she uses is hopeless and just sends out generic messages and does not respond to queries. I can highly recommend Vallance House and would stay again.

Absolutely beautiful house. We had a wonderful stay. Liz the owner was great at communicating, but the third party agent wasn’t.

The pictures didn't do the house justice. We went for a hen do and everyone had a great time and we were well looked after with bread and milk on our doorstep in the morning. The location is perfect as right by the beach or a short uber from the centre. Loved it!

Thank you Liz. Loved our stay, it was everything we thought and needed it to be. The property was well equipped and had a lot of modern amenities, specifically around the kitchen. It was awesome for barbecuing and having drinks in the garden. I would definitely stay here again, with the only change being the checkout time since it made it a slight rush to wake up, have breakfast, cleanup, pack and get out on the road with 9 individuals.
