Located in the eco-community of Armonia, our house is perfectly designed for outdoor living. All of the rooms open out to the deck and infinity pool, ensuring that everyone in your party has “the best” room! Brisa del Pacifico perfectly reflects the Costa Rican desire to live at one with nature, preserving both abundance and beauty. Each room comes complete with individually controlled energy efficient air conditioning as well as ceiling fans. The master bedroom boasts a 4 poster luxury bed, walk in closet, adjoining master bath with double granite sinks and double Jacuzzi for that luxurious soak overlooking the pool and property. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, has a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with double sinks and bathtub. Bedroom 3, also furnished with a queen bed, has an adjacent full bathroom including a shower, with direct access to the deck and pool. ***All bedroom furniture is designed by the builder and hand made from local farmed laurel. The fully equipped and spacious kitchen/great room comes with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Large sliding glass doors lead onto a covered lanai overlooking the infinity pool and gardens, replete with flowers, fruit trees and various indigenous mature trees which are home to all manner of wildlife such as toucans, parrots and monkeys. The lanai also features outdoor ceiling fans, energy efficient lighting and comfortable lounge chairs. An outdoor shower located at one end of the pool provides a refreshing way to cool down. Solar panels on the roof provide hot water for the house and electrical for the pool, a further testament to the eco-friendly nature of this home. Outside stairs lead up to a rooftop tiled terrace with breathtaking views of the ocean and property. A gas barbecue and outdoor sink on the terrace provide a pleasant alternative to cooking in the kitchen. We strive to be "CARBON NEUTRAL" ~ and are proud of it! 14 PV solar panels provide all the electricity requirements for the pool and for the grid. Hot water is 100% solar. Water sourced from the well in Armonia is both plentiful and delicious. Our air conditioning is the most energy efficient on the market, although is somewhat redundant with our year-round, cool breezes. Early morning walks down nature trails to the river which runs through Armonia’s 25 acres will give you glimpses of iguanas, howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, armadillos, toucans, hummingbirds, parrots and other wildlife. You have full access to the house and 2 acre property, and are most welcome to roam the 25 acre Armonia neighbourhood. You'll see a lot of wildlife from the comfort of the poolside deck, but stretching your legs is always a good thing! Our on-site property managers, Barb and Kyle, are orginally from Canada and have made Costa Rica their home. They are available via cell phone or email for any queries or issues you may have. They are a vital part of our guests' comfort and will be able to provide you with all sorts of tips on where to go and what to see depending on your interests. They can also recommend which restaurants, tours and companies are the best, depending on your needs. While most beachside towns in Costa Rica tend to sprawl out along the road following the coastline, Montezuma’s downtown is delightfully concentrated, with itinerant artists and their hand-made arts and crafts sharing space with well-established stores and restaurants, all in easy walking distance. How far is Brisa del Pacifico from Montezuma? Brisa del Pacifico is located 1.5 km north of Montezuma, and is very accessible by car (4 minutes to the village), bus or taxi. There is a public bus stop at 250 meters from the house, on the main road to Montezuma and Cobano. - The bus costs less than US $ 2 either to Montezuma or Cobano. - You can take another bus from Cobano to the other beaches for about US $ 3.50. - The taxi from Brisa del Pacifico to Montezuma costs 6$ and to Cobano 10$. It's very easy to get a cab, we always leave a list of phone numbers at the house for our guests.
