Beautiful cottage with increbidle views! We woke up to the sight of cows and various birds out of our windows. Cooking facilities are good, we managed to cook a complete roast dinner very quickly with the double-oven! Would highly recommend
Our group was six adults and six highly energetic kids. Easily one of the best AirBNBs we’ve stayed at. Started the day with a walk through the reserve. Ended the day with a barbecue overlooking the wetlands. And in between a 8 man game of soccer on the huge lawn. We felt like the house was perfect for big families. An open plan kitchen/lounge means you can keep an eye on the kids while preparing your meals. And seeing raptors, waterfowl, rabbits, grazing cows and foxes from the large trio of kitchen windows is very special. A not-to-be-overlooked benefit of the accommodation is the ready access to a team of support staff. Run out of firewood? Need a bacon sandwich? Can’t work the gas fire because you’ve had too much wine? All of these challenges were promptly resolved by the amazing Elmley team.
This listing and pictures for this cottage do not do it justice. When we walked into the property, music was playing, there was a gorgeous smell in the room, freshly baked bread and a the most incredible view, i audibly gasped! It was everything we could have hoped for, we visited as a group for a long overdue catch up and the property provided the perfect mix of tranquility and relaxation, but also privacy and space to let our hair down and have a great time. The rooms were all stunning, the bathrooms luxurious, and plenty of space for us to relax, sitting by the firepit looking out onto the miles of unrestricted nature reserve was an incredible feeling and something I’ve never seen anywhere else for the price! Don’t hesitate, just book!

Hi, we run the Reserve and farm and would love to share the experience of living in a wonderful nature reserve with you. Elmley is the only national nature reserve where you can stay overnight and we are committed to the conservation of our wildlife, farming sensitively and providing great experiences for our guests whom visit for the day or stay to wake up in a wilderness. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by amazing local producers and our food is seasonal and locally sourced.
