Matthew and Barry's place was the perfect location for our Barbados holiday. The location was perfect, with parking and easy walkability to bars, shops, and restaurants in Holetown. The accommodations were beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed, having everything one needs while away from home. Communication was great and they helped coordinate a very late arrival and a late checkout on departure. I will definitely stay again when I return back to Barbados in the future!
We stayed in Le Phare for two weeks. From the outset - through the booking process; arrival in Barbados; advice and assistance whilst we were there and departure, Matthew and Barry and Matthew's parents Bernadette and Tony were always there if/when we wanted contact. and they could not have been more helpful, organising transportation for us and giving advice whenever it was wanted. The property, in Sunset Crest, is located less than 10 minutes walk from the centre of Holetown. It was very clean and comfortable and represents excellent value for money. Additionally, we had free access to the Beach Club, about five minutes walk from the condo. The Beach Club was a joy for us - particularly in the early mornings. We'd also like to thank Matthew and Barry for their flexibility regarding departure times, which was very much appreciated. Wholeheartedly recommended and we'd have no hesitation in returning.
We loved Le Phare. The location is great - so close to the beach as well as amenities and bars and restaurants. The condo itself is well equipped and furnished. The hosts have clearly thought about everything that their guests might want or need for a great stay. In particular we really appreciated all the help that we got from Bernadette and Tony. They dealt with all our questions and requests swiftly and efficiently. We would recommend without hesitation and hope to be back! (And we loved the cats, two of whom were frequent visitors and we named Bella and Hissy!)
Le Phare delivered as advertised. We wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend it to our friends. Keep up the good work Matthew and Barry !

We are Matthew (on the right) and Barry (on the left) - Bajan and Irish respectively, and living in Switzerland for 20 years. We have been regular users of Airbnb as guests for many years now, and know exactly what we expect from a host - so hopefully as relatively new hosts we can deliver a memorable experience for you! Matthew grew up in Barbados and used to visit the Sunset Crest area with his grandmother, and would always marvel at how typical and cute these apartments were - they typified this part of the island for him. We are excited to now be owners of one of these properties, and to share the experience with you. We have recently bought a new property in the beautiful area of Weston St.James between Holetown and Speightstown. This two bedroom ground floor condo will give you both a relaxing holiday and a taste of authentic Barbados. We are passionate about ensuring you have a wonderful experience in Barbados, and will do all we can to really make your vacation unforgettable.
