Great place to stay for Christmas. My inlaws live down the street and we were all able to stay comfy and cozy during Christmas and the cold spell.

More than one aspects of this listing were inaccurate. The bed size listing was not true; the Airbnb stated a queen bed and there was not one. The property was not clean when we arrived. There was debris scattered across the floor and the bed cover was visibly stained. This property uses a highly liberal definition of "lakefront". The property itself is across the street and behind two other homes that actually are lakefront. This property technically has a small area (no more than ~20 meters of frontage) with a dock on the water that they are using to designate it as lakefront. This area is squeezed between the two other properties. The owners became snippy and borderline rude in their responses over the app when we raised these concerns to them.

We had a great time at the lake! Sylvan lake is beautiful and calm. The apartment was clean, quiet at night, and had great views. It was a perfect relaxing weekend for my husband and me. We spent a lot of time sitting by the lake watching boats and reading books. We also had a great time with kayaks that Alyssa had there for us to use!
