The Atwood Farm is a beautifully restored house. With a stunning view of Lake Atwood, antique, and updated interior, it was a wonderful weekend getaway. The den was a perfect place for our kids to hangout/rest. I would usually say it is not kid friendly, because it is an older house, however, our kids listened well and we just moved little decor items we did not want them to break. The house was SO clean and had everything we needed. The fireplace heaters in the back rooms was a wonderful luxury. My father-in-law had his own private space in the upstairs room & bathroom. He was very impressed with the house, especially the little details the hosts included. We were in town visiting family in Lagrange, so we did not get a chance to explore the surrounding area. Short drive to Shipshewana & many great little Indiana towns. We would definitely stay here again!

This renovated farmhouse was spotless, beautifully appointed, and peaceful. As another reviewer mentioned, the bedrooms are situated in a way to maximize privacy for all. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year!

This was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed! The pictures looked like it was out in the middle of a field, and what sold me was the front porch. I could just picture us sitting in the rocking chairs enjoying the breeze, and chatting with friends, enjoying the peace and quiet. The best surprise was that the porch faces the lake and that just made my soul happy!! It was a wonderful stay - the rooms were immaculate, comfortable, and separated enough for complete privacy, and there was sooo much space to spread out. The family's story was very touching and we DID love it as much as they do! We also loved the surprise in the lower bedroom by the garage - made some tired aching backs pretty happy... We will definitely stay here again - it was the perfect getaway weekend place to stay. Thank you so much for sharing this property with us! Highly recommend!
