Great common spaces. I enjoyed a lot of time blissing out on a hammock listening to the jungle sounds and looking out at pure beauty. Good firm bed appreciated by this ‘older’ traveller. Really appreciated the convenience and low cost rental of bikes since transport is expensive in CR. Made it possible to easily explore other beaches and Puerto Viejo. Perfect spot away from the more touristy town. Great beach access right down the access road beside the fruit truck. Hosts have mastered that balance of being there to chat without being bothersome. Quick response to any need and both have strong knowledge, respect, and love of their adopted homeland. Great kids too!

Die Unterkunft ist ein top-Favorit meiner Unterkünfte in Costa Rica! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Mega Lage im Wald, kein Massentourismus. Bus direkt unten an der Straße, welcher 1x die Stunde fährt (nach Puerto viejo) nur hatte man am Anfang kaum Infos darüber weshalb die erste Anreise etwas erschwert war. Angekommen fühlt man sich herzlichst empfangen, es gibt eine große gemeinschaftsfläche mit Garten, Küche und Hängematte wo man sich sehr wohl fühlt. Das Frühstück für 7$ war auch top. Faultiere und Tukane konnten wir leider nicht sehen aber viele Kolibris und Affen direkt am Gebäude! Der Chiquita Strand ist fußläufig erreichbar und wunderschön. Gegenüber ist direkt ein Supermarkt. All in all nichts zu meckern 🥰

The host was very kind and hospitable. I only wish I had more time to stay and enjoy the hostel to its fullest. The setting and decor were tranquil. I’m completely satisfied.

Un buen lugar para alojarse. El desayuno fue muy rico. La ubicación está cerca de playa chiquita y Punta Uva. El cuarto olía un poco extraño y las sábanas también. El personal es muy amable y recomiendo el lugar.
