We have stayed here several times and it is consistently fantastic--very clean, quiet, peaceful, beautiful view of the sunset over prime hook, and dog friendly. The owners are very friendly and responsive. We hope to stay here again soon!
We have been staying at this place for 4 years straight! It always feel like home and the host is extremely flexible, friendly, accommodating, and thoughtful. We highly recommend this place for your home away from home at the beach.
Our family had an amazing week in Broadkill thanks to Patti & Rick’s beautiful home. They had everything we could possibly need and more. Any questions we had throughout the week, the owners provided immediate responses. Our favorite spot was the screened in back porch where we enjoyed many family meals, Phillies games on our projector screen, and a few naps on the cozy day bed. We also enjoyed morning walks through the neighborhood with our pups, adventure-filled beach days with the kids, and nightly kickball games in the backyard. We could not have asked for better accommodations and we hope to return next summer.
We had a great week! The house was so comfortable, kids had a ball with the bikes and game room. Our dog had a large yard to play. Everything was really great! Can’t wait to visit again!!
Patti & Rick are amazing hosts! Their home is one of the best AirBnb that we have been in! A Shore Thing at Broadkill is a wonderful beach house! Very spacious and beautiful views from multiple decks. It is well stocked with beach chairs, bikes, toys, and dog kennels. The kitchen has everything you need! The beach is a short walk away from the house. Bring bug spray. The biting flys are no joke! The beach is lovely and is great for small children with mild waves and no crowds. The outdoor shower has hot water which was great for washing the sand off the kids. Rehoboth is about a 30 minute drive w/ traffic. There are plenty of restaurants and shops near by. There’s a bridge you go over as you come into Broadkill that lots of people were crabbing and fishing off of. Overall I would recommend staying at a Shore Thing. It’s a nice private get away with plenty of space for a multi family or friends vacation. We had an amazing time here and our dogs we were welcomed! A definite winner!
