This was our second year there. Every bit as nice as the first. The house and property have a historic charm and peacefulnes that few others have these days. The nearby beach is the same...unspoiled, clean and not overrun. The center of town bespeaks New England history. Definitely would recommend !
This is the third year we rented the Maciel Farm and love it more and more every year.
What an incredible vacation!!! Beautiful grounds, gorgeous sunrises, and equally gorgeous sunsets!!! "HEAVEN and "GOD'S COUNTRY" are terms that easily come to mind, but even they don't do justice to this incredible property. One can feel the history of this unique 1800's farmhouse and the Christmas tree farm that operated here for many years. The house is very clean, with excellent kitchen, dining, grilling, and sleeping accommodations. Great attention to every detail!!! The beautiful loft offers all kinds of fun activities: ping-pong, billiards, and darts, to name a few. Very close to beach, restaurants, hiking trails, and beautiful nature!!! I could go on for days, but one must visit this unbelievable, and very unique, property to truly appreciate it!!!
Maciel Farm is a magical space and we loved our stay. Melanie was very responsive and the house had everything we needed.
