Located inside a gated condominium development a bit outside of town with a nice pool and restaurant. Accommodations were spacious, and spare but functional. A car is strongly recommended if you’re going to stay here, parking is easy and free.

While the villa was clean the listing was misleading for several reasons: 1. There was no shuttle into town as listed - this has not been offered for over 2 years. We do believe this has now been edited. As 3 people travelling without a car we would not have booked had we known this. The property is far from town however the resort ended up arranging taxis for us for 5usd. 2. The location provided by the host was much closer than the actual location of the Airbnb. 3. The villa has some issues - the windows did not shut and rattled all night with the wind. Ants had also infested the bedroom. 4. There is a disconnect between the reception at the resort and the Airbnb host. The Airbnb host is not present during your stay and the resort claims no responsibility of the faults and make no effort to rectify as it is not their property. 5. Be aware of the $45 USD that has to be paid when checking in - the explanation given as to what these fees are for were inadequate. We chose the leave the property a day early as a result. We do not reccomend this property.

The house is nice and comfortable and was very clean and airy. The pool and restaurant area is very pleasant. Check-in was quick and easy, but pay attention to the additional fees at the end of the accommodation description. These fees must be paid at the reception desk. Even with the additional fees, the total price remains attractive for the area. The complex is a short drive from San Juan del Sur.
