Kurt was a fantastic host - very friendly and open to all questions and very personable. He host was always available, but gave us all the privacy we needed. He recommended some locales and was open to suggestions to make our stay even more enjoyable. He was also flexible and not at all demanding. 10/10 Kurt, thank you. The stay was very comfortable, the house looked superb. The hardwood interior had a very cozy and homey feel - even with a larger place. Kitchen and baths were very clean. Fully stocked, even for a large party. The location was close to the ferry and very easy to find - although it is a bit of a trek to get downtown, but that is offset by the privacy and the beautiful scenery. All in all, 10/10 - will absolutely go again.
We had a great stay here - the house was lovely and in a picturesque setting, close to Sidney and about 25 minutes from downtown Victoria, as well as local beaches and berry picking, hikes, etc. Curt was a friendly and helpful host, showing us around the house and providing many local recommendations (the Sidney Thursday evening market was a huge hit and we wouldn't have known about it if Curt hadn't mentioned it!). The large kitchen and dining room were perfect for large family meals and game nights. Thank you for a great stay - we had a truly memorable family trip here!
Kurt and Anette’s airbnb was clean and spacious. The house is big and it fit our family of 17 no problem. The area is green with lots of walking trails and many small beaches to discover in the area. Kurt was very nice and accommodating to all of our requests, we look forward to spending time at this airbnb again next year. Thank you!
Beautiful setting with great trails just down the road. Very quiet as well Bedrooms are quite soundproof except for the one just off the kitchen. Big bonus when kids are involved!
