My brothers and I were looking for a peaceful getaway from the city for Labor Day weekend. We came across Andi’s home in Athens and it literally checked every box. The place looks even better in person. This review simply won’t do it justice. Andi was super accommodating, extremely helpful, and gave us the best recommendations for our stay. His home was chic, vintage, and had nothing short of great energy and vibes. From the hot tub off the lake to the projector screen in the living room for movie night. If you are looking for a tranquil stay upstate, a house on the lake, or just a simple weekend getaway. This is your place. Thank you for having us

We stayed at Andi & David's house over New Years with a couple of friends and it was perfect! First and foremost, we're traveling with a very mobile toddler and they had lots of family friendly space, baby gates (that will not interfere if you don't have a child), a crib, high chair and even toys/so many books! Our little one was in heaven. In addition to all of the above, their home is beautifully appointed with everything you may need for your stay. Between the stunning fire place, easy cooking kitchen, hot tub and soaking tub in the loft we had a wonderful stay. Additionally, the location is great, it's an easy drive to a slew of cute little towns, hikes and parks. We'd happily stay again!

Amazing lake house with a gracious hostess! The property is great for a secluded retreat, but also very close to great Hudson Valley food, culture and shopping so you really have the best of both worlds. The setup of the house gives you a big, communal area, but plenty of room for multiple couples with bedrooms on numerous floors (our group especially appreciated the baby proofing throughout the space). The perks make it more than a home away from home: the fire pit and table, hot tub, projection screen and lake access were all a blast and made it feel special. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Do yourself a favor - and IMMEDIATELY go to this cabin!!! Like everyone else we have been cooped up at home with COVID and found this beautiful cabin as a escape to head over the holidays. The entire experience seriously blew away our expectations: Amenities: The house feels like a magic hideaway in the woods and it is even more beautiful than the pictures - the sauna is adorable and the best feeling on a cold day they give you essential oils and you feel like you are in the spa, the hot tub is amazing always hot super clean and easy to use - even better at night under the stars! They also have an awesome projector (not pictured) in the family room that comes down over the fireplace already connected to apple TV, and they give you tons of wood + kindling to start a fire....that we seriously just kept roaring all week House: All the rooms are exactly as pictured - no surprises with very comfortable beds + great robes for everyone in each room to go and enjoy the outdoor amenities. Plenty of towels, Kitchen is VERY well stocked with everything you need to cook and plenty of space in the fridge etc. if you are cooking your meals as we did Communication: This is the part that was so far above + beyond any other AirBnB stay, the hosts sent us videos of EXACTLY how everything worked in the house so when we got there we got to enjoy absolutely everything. They gave us cute places to go in the small town and where to explore, and were immediately available for ANY issue we had it seriously made the experience such a wonderful one for us. We had the best time visiting, and will definitely be back again!
