Secluded and surrounded by nature, the Link House is an incredible period home nestled on a bucolic road outside Hudson. The c1825 home is classic Greek Revival architecture, yet with modern amenities including a gunite pool, pool house and an epic lounging screened-in porch. It is one of the Great Houses of Columbia County, and the property delivers all of the outdoor wonders of a nature preserve, yet a quick drive to Hudson and surrounding towns, hikes, ski mountains and more. Perfect for all four seasons. Large home with four bedrooms and four baths. The guest wing has its own sitting room which may be used as a fifth bedroom. There is another shared sitting room outside of the two guest bedrooms on the second floor, adding another potential "bedroom" (a sixth bedroom). The decor is comfortable and elegant, filled with mostly antique furnishings in keeping with the period of the home. The location is fantastic - nestled on a very queit and private road, yet only a 15 minute drive to Hudson/Warren Street. Bartlett House is 8 minutes drive, and the town of Chatham is 12 minutes. Very central to everything Columbia County offers. We’re big cooks and the kitchen is fully stocked - Sub Zero fridge, DCS range, Le Creuset, Wusthof knives, Staub, Kitchen Aid mixer, various coffee makers, dozens of cookbooks etc. The beds are all excellent, high quality and new, as are the pillows. Crisp white soft sheets and warm linens on each bed. WiFi is excellent, allowing for both streaming and WFH. Long-term (monthly) stays are available December to February at lower rates, reach out via message if interested.
