Ada and Brooke were wonderful to rent from. The house was gorgeous, and updated. There was plenty of room for all 4 of us, and the private outdoor patio was a peacefully perfect place for us to unwind after a day of activities. It is next to the IH35 service road, but the house was super quiet (patio was quiet as well), and being this close to the service road makes getting in and out a breeze. Hosts were very friendly, responsive, and understanding. One of the things we liked the most, was that it was pet friendly, and that our hosts left plenty of pet extras, for our pup in case we had forgotten. We loved Salado, couldn't say enough about this property, and will most definitely be staying again. Thank you Ada and Brooke!

The house was very clean, welcoming, and nicely decorated. It was a nice set up for us. The house is right next to the highway, but we used the fan that was provided, so we slept very comfortably. We would stay here again.

Great location and easy to walk to restaurants and shopping. The property was comfortable and stocked. We felt right at home. My only complaint is that it is right by a busy highway, but that is not a deal-breaker. I would go back.

“Highway Haven” was a wonderful home with many added touches to make guests feel welcome. The name worried me a little bc I wasn’t sure about a house right off the highway, but it doesn’t feel that way at all. You drive in from Main St to the front of the house and the highway is at the back. The bedrooms sit facing town at the front. While there is some highway noise, it didn’t bother us at all. It was just background. She had earplugs by the bed and a fan for white noise but we did not need it and slept peacefully all night. There is a record player with records, dvds, games, books. The bathroom amenities are great and done really cute. (She thought of everything) The kitchen is stocked with appliances, dishes, spices, snacks, and coffee bar. The extra room with wall mirrors, yoga mats, small hand weights, and desks is really neat. Huge mud room/laundry room with iron, soap, bird seed, dog treats. Great backyard area to relax! Walking distance to town. Great parking. Feels quaint.
