Bring a warm covers, a lot of wood with you (host provides a limit), if you travel in winter time. Ask all of your questions to the host before you arrive to avoid any inconvenience ( host might not to reply you on time, unless to remind you when to check out). Do not recommend to travel with a kids in a winter time, unless you do heat the stove the whole night. THERE IS NO WIFI, NO CHANCE TO CONNECT TO PERSONAL HOST AS WELL.

We had a lovely family weekend at Daniela’s place. We were looking for a no wifi, cabin in the woods experience and that is exactly what we got! Definitely a colder experience than I anticipated... but it’s January. We brought heavy blankets for sleeping with warm PJs and the wood burning stove makes a huge difference during the day. Cottage is small overall but has two large bedrooms with double beds, and a cozy living room area with a nice view of the lake for hanging out. Kids loved walking on the frozen lake and watching the planes land. They didn’t want to leave :)

Beautiful property with a very unique layout. Be sure to bring, towels, linens and pillows.

Very much as advertised. Clean space in a wonderful part of Ontario. Good value. Would go again.

Like front cottage - what’s not to like?! Paddle boat was a lovely surprise. A few more hospitable touches could have taken this from a 4 to a 5. Don’t forget to bring toiletries including toilet paper and towels.
