This place is amazing! They have everything that you need to spend a quiet and fun weekend! Ira it’s an a wonderful host he all the time help us and our dog was so happy running for all of the place Highly recommended! We need go back ASAP

The location was what attracted us as we were fishing a nearby lake. We left late from home and didn’t arrive until after midnight. The listing had the address as 10 however we discovered as we entered the property there was 10A and B and we had no clue which was ours. It was dark so was tough to tell from the pictures. Luckily we managed to find the right one. Upon entering the home it was freezing cold. The heaters were not turned on at all and it took a good 30-40 min to heat up the house to make it comfortable enough to jump into bed. There was also a huge cobweb covering the chandelier in the kitchen which made us wonder the last time it was cleaned. Once we got past these issues the stay was enjoyable and served it’s purpose as a place to relax for a few hours and lay our heads after a day on the water. However once we left the property I was accused of stealing pillows and towels from the owner which really soured the experience. He was angry we left the propane on the bbq on. It was just the propane tank itself and not the bbq so they didn’t lose any propane and there was no specific instructions to turn it off. The communication from the owner seemed combative and unprofessional and as three professionals ourselves we really didn’t appreciate that at all, especially considering the property was not exactly in great shape for us upon arrival.

Nothing beats the view at Ira's cottage! With windows along its entire length, we got to enjoy the fall landscape even on a rainy day. Lake McKehnie is also the perfect size to go canoe'ing. The cottage comes well equipped with a canoe, SUP, and pedal boat, and the gradual slope makes it easy to access the water. The location is a quick drive from restaurants and nearby towns. We also got to check out the Cranberry festival in Bala which was a lot of fun. Thank you for a great trip Ira!

was a great stay. Ira was a friendly communicator. location was quaint and peaceful. nice place for a quick getaway to relax with the family. heating is baseboard so takes a while to warm up. Ira communicted and explained everything well. I'd recommend for a nice getaway
