This is the second time we've stayed here. I asked my husband what he wanted to do for his birthday this year and he said "let's go back to that awesome beach house on Whidbey Island". I'm so glad we did! The cottage is charming and cozy, the fenced-in backyard is perfect for our dog, the location is gorgeous. Also, Susan was super thoughtful and left a gift for my husband. ...I hope we can come back again next year! <3

Both Susan and her home were even better than I imagined! The house is even more beautiful than the pictures, and had everything my teen/tween kids and I could have wanted. Plenty of space to spend time together, from making dinner on the front porch to hanging out in the hot tub to even just sitting down and watching tv together. There were also separate spaces to do our own thing, which is key for that age group. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, great yard for our dog, and my 8th grader claimed the game room as her "moody teen hideout". Susan is also an exceptional host. She sent a picture of her dog by the backyard fence to reassure my child who saw our dog jump a low fence at a different Airbnb. She turned on porch lights and the propane fireplace shortly before we arrived, for a cozy, easy-to-find, arrival. Very responsive to questions, and she and her husband came right down to replace the propane tank on the grill. Thank you Susan and Chris!!! We'll be back next year!

We love staying at Susan's AirBnB! We call it the little red house on Mutiny Bay. Every time we come there is some additional thoughtful detail that has been added. A wonderful and comfortable house on the best bay on Whidbey Island!

Our family has met here several times for some beach time with the dogs. it's easy to find and on a dead end road so very little traffic. It's only a short walk to the beach on Mutiny Bay. Everything was ready for us on arrival. Host even lit a fire in the woodstove and picked a bouquet for us. No unpleasant surprises at this rental.

This has got to be the cutest place we have ever rented. So well thought out. 3 decks, hot tub, ocean view and a huge fenced in for our dogs. The electricity went out when we were gone and when we came back they were there with use of a generator and more. Loved this place so much. Did I mention the fresh eggs in the fridge. I could go on and on but will let you discover it for yourself.
