Amazing stay. We enjoyed every minute of our stay! Hosts were very kind and thoughtful of us and our little kids. The location was peaceful and beautiful. Just know it can be hot without windows open as soon as you get there in the summer so be sure to located the fans and keep the windows open. We loved it and hope to return

Overall fantastic place. It was pretty warm tho, so I recommend opening a window and keeping them open. That seemed to cool the place down really well. The eating table a bit small, but understandable given the footprint and layout. Countertop space was plentiful, but with two young kids we couldn't eat separately. A family of 4 would be too tight in the space. Very clean and well stocked place, no gripes about any of that. Beach was fantastic and a short sub 2 minute walk past the owner's home. Neighbors were a little rough around the edges as the kids wandered over to their yard. Anything worth doing was a quick sub 10 minute drive away. Taco hut, rite aid, farmers market, playground. We drove to all of them and it seems like everything is 10 minutes away from each other. We actually met the owner and he was super nice. Mowed the lawn while we were at the market. Asked if we needed anything and was very friendly

Nice weekend getaway. Easy hop off point to explore Freeland and Langley and private access to beach was super easy. House is fully stocked with everything you need.

The carriage house is perfectly situated alongside a beautiful stretch of the Whidbey Island beach near Double Bluff Beach and Sunshine Beach / Useless Bay and the town of Freeland. This means you have your own private access to a pristine beach and you’re a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, restaurants and other essentials in Freeland. The house itself has everything you need for a visit, it’s spacious enough for 1-2 families and the kitchen is well supplied for cooking. The house is clean, bright and very well maintained. The linens are high quality and you’ll feel quite comfortable. We bumped into the owners of the main house who were lovely and gracious. Our family of four loved our time here! A great experience!
