The location is great but when we checked in, it was so dusty and dirty we had to book a last minute hotel. The place looked so nice in the photos but it didn’t look like the place was cleaned at all. I’ve never encountered an issue like this with Airbnb and didn’t expect it in Japan. I contacted the host and airbnb support right away and sent photos to the host. They asked for more photos so we had to go back to the apartment to take some more. I tried to request a refund or alter my reservation to a shorter stay but the host declined my request. The host was never rude, only adamant that they would not refund or even partially refund me. I had agreed to the host’s plan to get the place cleaned and the last thing they told me was that they would let me know when the cleaners would be done. My plan was to check the cleanliness to see if it was livable bc we couldn’t afford to eat the cost and book a new place. All of the sudden, Airbnb support cancelled my booking and fully refunded me

Yosuke’s airbnb is a fantastic deal and Yosuke is super responsive if you need anything. I loved the location. Very close to Meiji Jingu and half way in between Shibuya and Shinjuku. Close to Lawson and grocery stores. You can walk to both within 20-30min. Also close to 2 subway stations (about 5 and 7 min away at a normal walking pace). Recommend trying the restaurants in the neighborhood as well. There is an awesome shabu shabu place (amazing beef quality and the beef tongue shabu is a must try) and yakiniku place across the street serving Ohmi wagyu. One of the best kakigori shops in Tokyo is about 2-3 blocks away (need to reserve a week in advance though).

Great place! I stayed here for a month and I would definitely stay here again! Host is super responsive so if you have any troubles at all, then she is there to help! One minute walk to Lawson to get anything you’d need for the trip. If you stay here, check out the ramen shop at the Yoyogi intersection, its 🔥!
