Nice little room for my dog and me in a great central location, and the tea-making facilities and fridge were useful for my stay. Missie was responsive and friendly and her little dog is lovely!

The code lock on the door must be reset if you make a mistake and imput a wrong figure or miss any figures. You then have to wait a while, 3 minutes, for it to reset. Until it has properly reset the lock won't work, even if you input the correct code and will not open the door. I was not aware of this and the first time I entered the code I missed a couple of figures, I reset the key pad but was not aware that if you make a mistake, you have to wait for the code pad to reset. As a consequence I was unable to get the door to open no matter how many times I keyed the code in correctly. After 10 minutes in the rain, I finally had to contact Missie. She came and opened the door for me pretty quickly, but was obviously annoyed at being contacted and told me off for not putting in the right code, dismissing my explaination. She seems to see her guests as an inconvienence, rather than paying customers. It needs to be made clear that if you make a mistake you must wait for code pad to reset

Went on a holiday to Brighton for couple days and picked Missie’s place as it’s very affordable and I was hoping to get to meet her lovely dog - Kali. As a solo traveler for me safety is the key and Missie’s place offered it! Very easy to reach, on a main street, 10-ish min. walk from the beach, on a busy but still fairly quiet area. Prior to my visit I was sent very detailed instructions from how to unlock the door to how to use the shower - no useful information was missing. What’s more, Missie answered all of my questions with no hesitation and was friendly enough to ask me if I wanted to leave my bags in the flat while exploring the city even though I already checked-out. Missie and Kali were great hosts - perfect place for short or even slightly longer visit! Would definitely recommend :)
