Lovely place , clean, warm, great welcome package. Great location etc etc Just felt cottages_com’s let the owners down as we asked cottages_com’s if they could contact the owner and ask if it was ok for us to leave our dogs with a dog sitter in the property whilst we attended a funeral. Cottages_com’s replied that it was not possible. Not helpful and very annoying as when we spoke to the owner days later it was not a problem as far as they were concerned.

Cute cottage in a quiet village in Eastling. Very old and authentic. However......there is only one bath and it needs to be updated. It has a hand held shower, so we had to take baths while washing our hair and the water sprayed all over the bathroom. It needs a shower head and glass partition or shower curtain. The cottage is very small for four people even though it sleeps four. We had to leave our suitcases in the living room. If you are tall, watch out! My husband and son banged their heads several times on low doors. Ouch! Finally, lot of flies. The fly curtain on the kitchen door doesn't really help. They need a fly zapper in the kitchen. Fun for a couple of hours but staying there felt uncomfortable and we made lots of compromises. Working out of your suitcase in the living room was a drag. Taking baths was nuts, it took four of us forever to get out of there in the morning and I hate flies. My husband left there with a large bump on his head after hitting it on the short doors a few times.
