Throughout the whole process, Angel reached out and was very quick to respond. He allowed us an early check in and offered a late check out! The views from the property were stunning and the property was truly something special. Some reviews noted the chickens and animals nearby being loud. We had no problem sleeping through it with the fans on, so don’t let that deter you from booking. It’s very nice and peaceful, even with the animal noises. Along with all the cooking utensils, Angel included some tequila, snacks, and coffee. There’s also beach towels, a cooler, and soap. They also have some good recommendations for food and activities. This property’s location balances seclusion and privacy while still being close to everything. If you’re thinking about booking, do it!

Angel was great! He was very friendly and responsive we had no issues checking in or checking out. He was very communicative and accommodating, checked in with us through to see how things were going. We had a very nice experience, we were unbothered by the roosters.

Angel’s place was a special piece of paradise during our time in San Jose. The space is well thought out with beautiful surroundings and plenty of places to explore nearby. The neighborhood is bustling with animals and cars, but it added to the charm of being in a new place. We bought lots from the farmstand at Flora Farms and enjoyed using the grill and kitchen to cook the veggies and fish we caught. The kitchen had everything we needed and Angel was kind to provide a welcome note with local coffee and tequila! We enjoyed the view and grounds anytime of day- the sunrise was gorgeous, sunset showed brilliant colors on the distant mountains, and the night sky was full of stars. Angel was super responsive and kind throughout our stay. While certain spots are walkable during the day (Acre, Flora Farms, Laura’s Place corner store, Tamarindos) there are lots of cars on the dirt roads. Definitely wouldn’t recommend walking at night. We loved staying here and look forward to returning!

For our first time visit to Cabo, my husband and I stayed at this lovely airbnb, just a few minutes from the artistic town of San Jose, yet feeling quite removed and private, up in the hills with a beautiful view. Gorgeous property, tiered outdoor space with plunge pool, minimalist modern home with great open windows and although small, perfect for a couple and there was nothing we found lacking. Angel was courteous, helpful and clear in all his communications and of particular assistance when we had issues with the safe. Many others have mentioned the noisy roosters--they do add to the charm and earplugs were provided. There is also some noise from the restaurants below especially on weekends but nothing we found bothersome, especially from inside. There are a couple of ways to get there with a rental, a portion of which involves unpaved roads but perfectly manageable. There is no house # but Angel's directions were very clear. Highly recommend--very professionally run.

Private and secluded, perfect size for a couple. About 10-15 mins from downtown San Jose. Everything was perfect except for the roosters next door crowing all day. Though they quiet at night they start pretty early so something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to sound. The host provided ear plugs which was thoughtful! I’d stay here again.
