This little gem of a beach cabin was exactly that. Walking distance to the beach. Situated in amongst the trees and kangaroos, perfect for families with young kids. Cabin was beautifully simple. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had read a negative review of the place and were understandably anxious. Our experience did not match this poor review. The cabins are old - very 'retro' and rustic, but that was consistent with the description and photos. The facilities were 'dated' but functional - we had no issue with that, as it was what we expected. The cabin was clean and tidy and had a toilet and shower room: the one minor downside, as older folk, was that it involved a step outside, even though it was attached to the house. The host was very friendly, responsive and easy to talk to. The cabins are set in a large area that provides lots of personal space and privacy. The beach is a short walk as is the local cafe.

The area was ok, the cabins power was off and had no ac or no fans provided when it was 30+ degrees. The bathroom had random holes in the wall and dead bugs every where because it also has little gaps in the roof. The curtins weren’t long enough in the bathroom aswell so anyone staying in other cabins could see right through the window and one other window had nothing at all. The shower was clogged up and it leaks thru the bottom of the shower screen and absolutely soaks the whole bathroom. The lighting in the cabin was dull and was semi dark. The owner came up to us unannounced when we were barely out of bed early morning. It says it is pet friendly but sooks that the dog wasnt tied up but has other dogs running round. Defenitly not worth the $$ for one weekend and would not return again

The second time we've stayed here , we love it! Great location and super friendly host. We loved sitting on the deck listening to the waves and watching the wildlife. Super comfy bed and all the basic amenities available. Would absolutely recommend it!
