Chuck was so willing to tell us about his place and the surrounding areas whenever we asked. He has pecans that fall in his driveway and he was so excited to share how to crack them and eat them to our 12 yr old. She loved it so much that he let her take some home. He also was so willing to give us privacy when we wanted. He is a great host and has a very clean and enjoyable house.

When you stay at Chuck's house there is very little separation. There is only one floor in the three bedroom house and he sleeps in one of them. When you come in through the door, you walk past through the kitchen, the family room, past his bedroom and into the bedrooms at the end of the hall. Chuck lives there actively, so we saw him frequently as we came and went. You essentially gain two roommates, Chuck and his partner. Make no mistake, they are very pleasant people and great hosts! It just really took us off guard.

My stay at Chuck’s in Santa Clara was exactly what I needed. Chuck is warm, hospitable, caring, really helpful and funny. I wouldn’t have experienced or seen as much of the area without his guidance/information/expertise. The location is perfect, quiet and so close to everything you need. I felt so comfortable and at ease there. The bed is great, the bathroom and kitchen had everything I needed and more. Great experience and would highly recommend! It is an incredible value too. Have fun! Will stay here again next time I am in the area.
