We spent 3 nights here, would highly recommend. Barbara is a fantastic host, very friendly. Very peaceful spot, only 10mins drive to Motueka. Fireplace to keep warm at night. We would be happy to come stay again.

Very spacious and peaceful studio on a farm just outside Mutueka. Great place to recover after exploring Abel Tasman National Park and surroundings. Feels very private and has great views over the farmland and orchards. Just note that there is no WiFi and the mobile signal for me was variable. But I stayed for a week and could easily have extended. Mutueka has a large supermarket, great visitors centre and Sunday morning market. Fresh fruit is on sale everywhere you go in the area. Kaiteriteri (20 mins) is the place to go for a fabulous beach and where the shuttle boats are based to take you to sections of the Abel Tasman Coast Track. The Waka Abel Tasman trip was also a favourite. Barbara and Jon were very welcoming, flexible and friendly hosts.

Sunrise is in the top five of Airbnb's that I have stayed in. Plenty of room, lots of light, and a wall of windows through which one can view the picturesque and wide rural landscape. Sunrise is peaceful, comfortable, and tasteful. A combination of natural country rustic and comfort. A big plus for me is the studio has a stove top meaning a proper coffee in the morning. It is very detached so one feels private. No wifi or TV (the latter I don’t miss) but if you are a laptop person like myself then tethering to your phone is the solution as the signal is very good. Barbara & Jon couldn’t be better hosts.

We had an absolutely delightful stay. We came for some peace, to get away from the daily task list and noise. This was the perfect spot to do so. The space is clean and feels spacious, had everything we needed, including a serene view and welcoming hosts. The jam, honey and snacks were a welcome treat! The bed is quite comfortable, we slept very well. Thank you for having us!
