Totally recommend we absolutely loved this place. I would rate this as one of my favourite places I have stayed. It was so relaxing and peaceful also fun to have the eco element about it. The cute outside bath and shower. Lovely warm fire and not to mention the outside toilet in which the weka came to visit me while sitting there looking at the gorgeous morning view 🤣The stunning views and sound of native birds and animals. It was just perfect 🥰

What an incredible find! It’s an adventure to the top. The most gorgeous, cosy cottage sitting on top of what felt like a mountain surrounded by lush native bush and birds. The most amazing view over Motueka and the sea complete with beautiful sunrise + sunset and an outdoor bath for star gazing. So peaceful and private, a perfect escape.

It was just great! To be honest, we didn't read the description carefully and expected something else. But when we were there we thought it was absolutely fantastic and felt very comfortable. Ecolodge at its finest with a stunning view and lovely bird singing all day long. The description is exactly right. It's a little difficult to find the place directly because the GPS isn't clear, but Paul is very friendly and helpful in every way and gives you simple directions that will help you get by. Cars only! No Motorhomes (I would say max. 2m high and 5m long if you what to park directly in front of the cabin). 4WD not absolutely necessary but advisable during bad weather. Bring enough supplies for your stay and enjoy the outdoor shower and a Loo with a view!
