Lovely stay in Jenna's cottage. We loved the cottage, it had everything we needed. A short walk into Bakewell which was very handy. Jenna's correspondence was excellent. Many thanks.

Lovely comfortable cottage. Perfect location for walking into Bakewell and the surrounding countryside. There is road noise which is to be expected as it is located on a main road. We were unfortunate with the electricity company digging up the road on our last night. With regard to parking behind the cottage, we had a ford fiesta which was fine but anything bigger would be difficult to turn as the lane is a dead end. Jenna's photos of the steps leading to the back door are really accurate as they are steep and of different heights. so you'd need to be aware of this.

We had a great three days at this Airbnb. The location is exactly what we wanted. 10 minute walk to all the restaurants, pubs and town centre. Ideal location for accessing the local walks. We walked on the Monsal Trail which we recommend accessing thru the Station when the ground is saturated. (Just head for golf course and you can’t miss it.) The accommodation itself is simply excellent. Lovely bedroom and modern bathroom. The kitchen and lounge are very comfortable and well furnished. We did not use outdoor area, due to time of year, but would love to have experienced in warmer months; it looks inviting. Jennas description of the property is 100% accurate and you should take your time to read prior to booking. Yes the parking area takes due care and attention but was easily achieved in our SUV. I would recommend driving past the parking space, turning around and enter the space right hand down. It really is that straightforward. Just take your time. No problem. First class. 5*
