Not exactly what I expected but we made the best of it. The location was fantastic, walking distance to a few of the restaurants, boat launch, park, and float plane. Direct access to the ATV/SXS trails and a small parking area at the house. Kitchen has all typical appliances and utensils, however it is not stocked with spices, aluminum foil, or dish washer pods. The cabin is much smaller than I expected, finishes and workmanship could use some help and make sure you read the fine print in the rental agreement.

Showed up to a broken window covered with cardboard. The house was disgustingly dirt, mold on the shower head, stains on the blankets and sheets, stains and hair all over the couches. The house looked as though it were thrown together quick to grab a quick buck from those too worried to leave. Vacasa sent myself and my pregnant fiancé on our way at 11pm at night to find somewhere else to stay. The property manager Charlotte said they had a place for us but Vacasa later on canceled due to a minimum stay issue…they were more concerned with money than the health and safety of their guests. I would never suggest Vacasa to anyone. A refund isn’t enough for a 7 hour drive, 200 lost in groceries, and potential illness of an expecting mother. Absolutely horrified by their lack of respect and common decency.

Nice location just on the edge of town. It was within walking distance of a fabulous restaurant, a small playground, and a boat launch. The cottage was lovely, cozy, and immaculate with everything one would need for a long weekend or short stay.
