Deanna is the best host, most friendly & most accommodating person I have ever met. She was very responsive even when planning our trip, she shared & helped us to recommend best places to go/visit & restaurants. We are traveling with our 9 & 7 year olds & they loved spending time with her cute horses & newest addition, little horse Phoebe. She left carrots in our fridge to feed the horses… For our last evening she prepared a beautiful fire outside with S’mores. Kids absolutely loved it & loved her! Even though we didn’t cook there, the kitchen is fully equipped, there’s wonderful local coffee, water in the fridge, etc… everything is there & the cabin is beautifully decorated. You feel right at home & wanting to stay longer & definitely come back! Thank you Deanna, you made our Fairbanks/North Pole experience more than worth while! Deanna was the best AirBnB host we’ve ever had! Her place is beautiful and charming. She welcomed us with warm hugs and a warm freshly baked banana bread! I must add, she’s a great baker! She made this trip so special for us for helping me organize a small surprise birthday party for my husband. She baked his cake herself! It was very special and her loc recommendations are bang on! Definitely worth a visit!! And if you visit Fairbanks, Deanna’s place is where you have to stay if you want a cozy comfy home away from home!

This property has so much character and perfect for our main reason to visit-to see the Northern lights. First off, when we booked the property, Deanna reached out to give us important information before we even started to plan our trip. She was very responsive. On our first day, we were welcomed with homemade fresh baked banana bread and it was delicious!! My 8yo enjoyed feeding the horses on the property with the carrots Deanna provided. She also invited us on our first night to a fire in the back of the property as we sat out to watch for the Northern Lights. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well stocked, and we could even view the auroras from indoors through the big windows. We highly recommend staying here for anyone who is looking for a hospitable host and want to explore Fairbanks and it's surrounding areas. Thank you Deanna!!!

We cannot say enough great things about Deanna and her property! The place is beautiful, inside and out! It is built and situated so that you can see the Northern Lights right from your bed! The cabin was clean , and stocked with lots of amenities, and plenty of extra goodies! She goes above and beyond any other host to make you feel welcome and comfortable..including some homemade goodies; and a campfire with all the fixings for s’mores! From my very first inquiry, Deanna answered LOTS of questions and gave us so so many ideas for activities and eateries; and all the advice of a lifelong Alaskan. We left planning our next visit, and to stay in touch with someone we will now call our forever FRIEND! Can’t wait to go back in the summer to experience the lake that’s right outside the cabin and canoe and kayak! If you’re considering visiting Alaska, think no more, and book this Airbnb cabin now! You won’t be disappointed!
