What an amazing place! We spent 3 days there and even though it was drizzly the whole time, we had an amazing time. The house was beautiful and comfortable with great views of the lake. Would love to come back again.

My stay was amazing and I couldn't have asked for better hosts than Dave and Kathy. The home itself is spacious, well furnished and decorated with everything you need for a stay that makes you feel at home. Dave and Kathy were easy to talk to amd very accessible when I needed something. They were also great guides to local attractions and essentials. I'd highly recommend them to other travelers and I'm already excited for my next visit with them !

We had a great time at Big Pond. The area was beautiful, peaceful and felt safe. We were able to have a walk and felt comfortable at all times. The kayaks and fire pit were an added bonus. Even though it rained for quite a bit of our stay we still made the best of it and the surroundings and the home made it easy. We were immediately comfortable walking in, as Kevin said " like coming home". We enjoyed the view from the dining room area. We discussed how everything was thought of and we didn't have to worry about anything. If we had any questions Kathy and Dave were quick to respond. We had a nice dinner at Dream Away Lodge and would recommend as a stop. Even the small country stores were close and very well stocked. We hope to be back again.

Dave & Kathy’s place is the perfect getaway, the natural lighting inside, the views of the lake, down the the sounds of the creeks that go along the path to the dock. The layout of the home is great, the sensor lights that help guide where u need to go is nice. I highly recommend that place to anyone who wants serenity…..even their cookware is top tier!

Dave and Kathy have a lovely home and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need - not just towels and sheets - but shampoo and extra toothpaste and toothbrush and qtips etc. The sheets in the master were so lovely that I took a picture of the tag! The lake itself is beautiful and large and we were able to kayak and fish! It’s clean and roomy. We loved the fire pit (with of course a huge pile of wood) and both our teens got some alone time on the swing chair and in the bunkhouse. The house is just super easy to stay in! There a few restaurants in Otis so be prepared for 20-30 min rides to surrounding towns for real grocers and other dining which was fine! Highly recommend this house!
