We had a wonderful stay at Linda’s place. The home and the property are beautiful, private and peaceful and everything was exceptionally clean, including the pool! Linda is a great communicator and very responsive and available for any questions. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in nature. I would even consider coming back myself! Five stars for a wonderful home, host and stay. Thank you, Linda!

We had a wonderful time at the house. The pool was a lot of fun and very spacious. The screened in porch was my favorite as it had plenty of seating and a large table to eat dinner outdoors without worry of bugs. It was especially peaceful during rain storms. The house was very well decorated and cozy. Linda was very responsive and readily available for questions.

We had a wonderful weekend at Linda and Marcella's house. The house is spacious and comfortable. Even without air conditioning, the house was comfortable day and night. We spent most of our time on the screened-in porch and the heated pool which is just a few steps from the house. It's so pleasant to sleep with the sound of water from the creek as background music. We enjoyed hiking on the local trails and, at Linda's suggestion, even attended a mushroom-foraging workshop at the local arts center, just 1/4 mile down the road. We visited a local farmers' market (10 minute drive) and picked up local honeycomb and pickles. Great Barrington is an easy 25-minute drive for supermarkets (we skipped the restaurants and cooked all our meals on the BBQ grill and well-equipped kitchen. We intended to spend an evening at Tanglewood listening to music (40-minute drive), but we were enjoying the house so much we didn't want to leave. Linda and Marcella were excellent hosts who went the extra mile to accommodate us and make us welcome. We hope to return soon.

What a nice week staying in this little slice of paradise! The house is charming, comfortable, and very private, with everything we could have needed for our stay. We loved the 2nd floor screened in porch overlooking the beautiful yard, where we had breakfast in the morning and watched a few hummingbirds at the feeder in the early evening. The pool was a wonderful highlight which we used every day. Grocery shopping took a little planning (about 25 minutes away), but within 15 minutes drive are farm-to-table restaurants for dinner (Cantina 229 & Gedney Farm) and the famous Southfield Store for breakfast/lunch. We loved our stay and are so grateful to you Marcella & Linda for opening your home to us!
