Our stay was exactly what we needed plus some. We were searching for a place near to my daughter's wedding venue (a campground) and preferred not to sleep in a cabin. I found the listing for the Bosworth Tap Room and knew right away it was the place. Not only was it close to the campground but I'm a museum professional and my husband and I are fans of historic buildings. The home is so obviously a labor of love. It does have old house quirks and some cosmetic renovations still underway but for us that just added to the charm. It had everything we needed and we found it extremely comfortable. Peter was more than responsive when I contacted him about adding an additional guest at the last minute and broke down the layout of the rooms to be sure it would be adequate for my sister-in-law's needs (in her mid 70's). When I look back at all of our B&B stays, this was one of the best experiences we have had with both the host and the unique property.

Staying at the Tap Room was a joy! Peter was very communicative and helped us get settled in very quickly. Kitchen was fully stocked (one of best that I've experienced) with everything that one would need to make a meal, which was especially enjoyable in the beautiful backyard space. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to comfortably relax near nature.

This was our second time staying at Peter’s house. We loved it so much last summer and we were excited to see it was available again this summer. Peter’s house is beautiful, cozy, rustic, private, and super charming. It’s exactly the type of place I like to stay in when I visit the Berkshires. There’s plenty of New England sites to visit within an hour’s drive or less, and some downtown areas within a half hour. But this house is also perfect if you want a quiet night at home outside with a fire. This is my favorite place to stay when I come to the Berkshires!
