Gail and Colleen were fantastic hosts and went out of their way to ensure I had a great stay.  The cottage itself was incredibly clean and made for a great place to work in the mornings while I had a cup of coffee.  I arrived late on a Monday evening and had no problem finding dinner options within a short 3 minute walk.  In addition, getting to both downtown Oakland, as well as San Francisco, was quick and convenient via Lyft/Uber.  I would highly recommend their place, especially if you are traveling for work in the East Bay as I was.

Colleen and Gail's cottage is a wonderful alternative for those looking for a quieter place than most hotels. They are great, thoughtful hosts, and the cottage has everything you need. I really enjoyed staying there. The neighborhood is also great.

Hands down the best hospitality I've experienced in several years of relatively frequent Airbnb stays. Colleen and Gail were exceptional hosts. Their place was well appointed and perfect for my needs as a solo traveler. Highly recommended.

Colleen and Gail are wonderful host. Their guest house is located within a quaint garden, accessed through a privacy fence. There is a deck, a perfect place to kick up your feet and enjoy a beverage. The studio-styled space is clean and comfortable. The hosts provided all the amenities of a hotel and more, including the specific breakfast and snacks I requested. Check-in and check-out were seamless. For those commuting to San Fran, the AC Transit C bus was a breeze - closer, faster and more comfortable than BART. The main drag of Piedmont Ave. (2 blocks away) is home to restaurants, pubs, yoga and shops. It's a great and safe neighborhood. Thank you Colleen and Gail!
