We had a really enjoyable and extremely restful stay at Diane's property. The bed in particular was really comfortable and felt especially so after a long day out at a wedding event! The property was full of personal touches and information about York. It felt like a home away from home and we will definitely return should we be back in York again.

This was everything an Airbnb should be. Towels, tea towels, washing up liquid, shower gel etc were all provided so we had nothing to worry about. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bread, milk, fruit, tea and coffee were a lovely, welcoming touch. The property was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the curtains made it very dark at night, so we slept well. It was great to have a guaranteed, off-road parking space, and there were plenty of buses into the centre of York. The house is on a quiet road in a nice neighbourhood. Thank you Diane for letting us stay in your property, I will definitely look out for your place on Airbnb if I come to York again!

Lovely place. Diane was very friendly and welcoming. We felt very relaxed and it was great with food for dinner and breakfast the next morning. So much nicer than “just a hotel room”. It was great having more room and being able to do washing with a clothes line and airer. Would highly recommend.

We had a happy stay at Diane’s place although the 2 and a half mile walk into York was a little further than we expected. However the footpath was nearby, well signposted and being regular walkers presented no problems for us. Diane gave us a welcome with fruit, bread and milk which was so helpful on our arrival.
