Had an idyllic stay at the Linhay, despite biblical rain one day. Danielle and Dave were so welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. If you want buzzing night life this isn't for you, but if you're looking for peaceful, glorious countryside with moorland literally on your doorstep then this is for you. Pure magic - thank you so much Danielle.

Danielle and David are perfect hosts. We had a wonderful 4 night stay despite the weather. The loft barn is so comfy cosy and peaceful and very well equipped with added homely touches and a very welcome roll top bath and wood burner after hiking on the moors. The Granite Way for cycling is nearby too. We loved watching the array of birds feeding every morning from our bedroom window. The Castle Inn was our favourite nearby pub with fantastic food and service, also The Peter Tavy inn about 20mins drive. Thank you Danielle, and we shall see you again later this year

Danielle & Dave took our booking last minute and were such wonderful hosts. We had a lovely 3 night stay in this homely, cosy Annexe & were made to feel welcome straight away. The bed & lounge were so comfy. The trees blowing right outside every window was really relaxing. All in all, a really great retreat. The Castle Inn in the local village served us a most delicious meal & their service was excellent (A must visit!)

A stunning spot right on the edge of the moor. The perfect location for anyone looking to do some walking with the added bonus of a great local pub nearby. Would thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely loved staying here. Everything you needed as in the description. We intended getting out a lot more than we did, but it seduced us to stay and eat in and just relax, exactly what we wanted from our break. Thank you
