House was exactly as described. Everything you could possibly need and well stocked ! Hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed our stayed. We will definitely be back!

We were looking for a place to relax, watch the ships and yet be close to restaurants in case we wanted to go out. Pete’s place was perfect! We were welcomed with homemade chocolate chip cookies and thoroughly enjoyed talking with Pete and Karen. We loved our weekend - the only complaint is that we didn’t have more time to stay!

Pete and Karen are absolutely wonderful hosts. They are kind, genuinely interested in you as their guest and have an amazing rental property. The St. Clair River is stunning, the freighters were such a delight to observe and the eclectic feel of the home so pleasant. We loved it! Yet, above all else the hosts really make you feel at home. They are so warm hearted and kind. Thank you so much for an incredibly memorable experience. My young family had an outstanding time and we can not wait to come back!

We stayed here so we could attend a family reunion in a neighboring community. The space was interesting, because it provided the room to be together, but also comfortably apart if we needed privacy. Many of the original parts of the 1930's home made it charming.
