This bungalow is quaint and rustic. The location is PERFECT if you want to relax and stay away from all the tourists. The caretaker next door named Gabby is WONDERFUL!!!

If you looking for days of peaceful solitude and privacy away from the big crowds and being very close to nature, it is the perfect place to stay. We really liked the rustic and authentic casa, which feels spacious. Peter and Gabby next door were there to help and give some tips. We took long walks along the beach, could watch pelicans, beautiful birds and glowworms at night, went sknorkeling a small foot walk close by where the reef is closer to the beach. Make sure you have enough mosquito repellent and be aware the beaches in general along the Costa Maya are unfortunatly not free of plastic trash. All in all we had a very wonderful stay, we would definatly come back another time! Many thanks, Loretta, for the great communication and for hosting us.

Great location private and peaceful. Garbage and sargosso on the beach but that is true of the coastline from Cancun to belize. Wonderful sleeping loved the traditional thatched roof! Loretta an Peter are great hosts! We stayed for a month and would definitely do so again!

The carib house is a very nice place to relax and enjoy rhe calmness and peaceful carib beach. We loved to swimm to the reef, saw baracudas, stingrays and colourfult corals. Protection against mosquitos is a good idea. Especially if you like to sit outside and eat some grilled lobster or fish you can find in Mahahual or get from local fishermen. And next to the house there is a little restaurant, another (italian style and very good) about half a mile south. We loved it all!
