There are a lot to see and do in Escondido and also if you prefer to have a bonding with nature and just get some quiet time. The mountains are just amazing with the sounds of the birds. Escondido downtown had almost every kind of restaurants to suit your style. Cruising on Grand is an experience not to be missed, farmers markets every Tuesday from 3 to 6 PM, Stone Brewery, The Wild Safari Park, Daly Ranch, Dixion Lake ... The only indoor Mall is here in Escondido. The wineries are beautiful to go for wine tasting.
Some awesome things you can find in Escondido are:
- San Diego Zoo Safari Park 5-8 minutes where you can view and ride among various desert animals from multiple continents.
- Multiple wineries (ask for more details). North San Diego county is rich with wine culture.
- Kit Carson Park has an ice rink and a skate park that is quite large with many different quarter pipes and rails to ride.
- We are located very close to the Escondido Center for the Arts which is an acclaimed art center worth visiting.
- Multiple plays, concerts and other stage-related activities year round within a short driving distance.
- Westfield shopping mall which is the only indoor shopping center (a large one) within San Diego County.

Parking is free in the driveway or street in front of our home. From the airport it is best to rent a car for your transportation. The Ocean is just 15-20 minutes you can visit several beaches along the North or South Coastal.
- Easy access to major freeways: Hwy 78, I-15, I-5.
- Downtown San Diego approx 25-30 minutes depending on traffic.
- Ocean & Coastal cities approx 15-20 minutes.
- A lot of hiking trails and lakes to experience.
