Christie's place was a pleasure to stay at. Myself and a few co-workers enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Upon initial arrival we thought neighborhood was sketchy; very run down house of crabber across the street. Azaleas practically covering main entry door; is a bit unsettling when it’s raining. House was very clean and well kept. There were a few things that do need attention: Dishwasher is not attached or connected to counter or cabinet and doesn’t fit the space. When we opened the DW door, it tilted forward;could cause injury or further damage. There was plenty of places to sit in living room but none really comfortable. Front room was not usable at all because of all the bicycles in rack; that room also housed an actual couch that would be better suited for the actual sitting space. For us the house worked fine but the space could be improved greatly. Overpriced for the experience.

Great little spot on a road less traveled in Darien. Neat oak covered entrance and unique old house with lots of character.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Christie's place and only wish we would have stayed longer. We will be back! it is as advertised, instructions are clear, and Christie is responsive. We spoke with the neighbors and they are very nice too. The side and back yard is private and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked breakfast and dinner there. We had plenty room for our family of 5 and found everything we needed. There are plenty of games, books, maps, and movies that kept us entertained. I spent a while looking at the bird posters and maps in the home. My wife really loved the artwork as well. We didn't use the bikes or grill but will next time. If had a place to rent I would use this house/experience as the template to follow. Richie and Angela.
