We had a great time at JJ’s place! It was so peaceful being near the lake, and the cabin was perfect for us. Rustic but also very clean.

Lake Armington is small and quiet. Mid-October I started each of three days in the provided kayak. Each time it was just me and a loon on the water. (7-8am) Plumbing worked, sinks seemed new, toilet was fine. Shower needs cosmetic help, but it worked. Heater worked fine and makes a very entertaining sound each time it shuts off.

Lake Armington is stunning. We stayed here for the first week of October and the colors were amazing. We took advantage of the canoes available and had a great canoe ride enjoying the colors. We had one issue with the internet and JJ was very quick to respond and correct it. The cabin suited our needs and the area and host were great.

Staying at this cabin started out with me needing Jj help with calls on my phone because there is no service in this area. Cabin’s Wifi gave me a way to phone my son to let him know I arrived safely. Hurricane Lee did not help. Once I got use to this little place with a throwback to my young years of New Hampshire small rustic cabins, I found it very comfortable. Beautiful view from the large main room window. Cozy corner for watching TV. Bed was comfortable and overall the cabin was clean. I was there to tour Tomten Farm & Sanctuary with my Vermont cousin and dinner with her in Bradford VT. So this worked out perfectly. Thank you Jj.
