This was a return trip to Lost River Modern and we once again had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and cozy and the location and views are terrific. Would highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway. The house, at 20 years old, is starting to show it's wear and tear a bit. But overall nothing to worry about for a nice stay.

Sharon’s place was amazing. It was just what we were looking for: peaceful, stylish, and so cozy. It was also really well-equipped with everything we needed for a weekend away. Sharon was an incredible host, too, checking in frequently and super accommodating. Don’t hesitate to book this place!! (But be warned—the Dutchtub is not for the faint of heart…took us 10 hours to get it hot in the winter. Well worth it in the end!)

Very peaceful retreat. Amazing stargazing from the Dutch hot tub, just be prepared to put in the work needed to get it going. But worth it.

We loved our stay and hope to return soon. Sharon’s place was beautiful, very clean, exactly as described, and secluded. Sharon was a great host — she sent very detailed instructions and suggestions.
