Amazing experience from check-in to check-out. The home is well equipped and organized (everything was labeled), clean, and felt like home. The views and surroundings are gorgeous, and nighttime in the hot tub made it that much more relaxing.

We loved this place - just what we were looking for - a few days of peace & quiet in a comfortable pet-friendly setting with a view! A lot of thought went into making guests (including pets) comfortable. We loved just hanging out in the living area, cooking in the well stocked kitchen, reading, listening to music and watching movies. We had the joy of just sitting and watching a light snow come down from the upper deck. Appreciate the big velour blankets for our pup so he could rest comfortably with us on the huge sofa. Appreciate the treadmill, yoga mats and excellent selection of books throughout the home! A perfect winter getaway. Hope to come back and do some hiking in the summer!

This was our second time staying at Maxwell's place. It was as great as we remembered it! The home is well equipped, clean and welcoming. The views and surroundings are gorgeous and the quiet solitude was a much needed break for our whole family. We will definitely be coming back again!

This was probably the best place I've stayed in during our Lost River getaways...and I've been coming here for about 6 years in a row. The 12 person hot tob was absolutely worth every penny, I could sit in there forever. The winter sweeping snowy views were stunning and we had everything we needed for an amazing family vacation! The kids each had their own room, the master bedroom was very private, and we were able to snuggle up to some cozy movies at night on the TV. We could cook from home, or be a short drive from a great pizza place (Lost & Found) or the Lost River Trading Post in Wardensville. The place was very clean and super organized (aka everything labeled), with every kitchen appliance you could need (coffee maker, toaster, vitamix etc). They do allow pets it seems (or have some of their own), so we definietly had to take some extra allergy medication, but it didn't get in the way of a fabulous stay!! We will definietly be back in the summer to utilize the many decks!
