The place is incredible Kelly keeps it clean and in very good shape. We had to wash dishes before using them but was not a problem at all. Kitchen is well equipped and the cabin has great lighting. Bedroom and bathroom, linens were excellent. Kelly always responsive Definitely would go back
We had a wonderful time, perfect for 5 adults and 2 dogs. The house was beautiful with great outdoor space. Kelly was helpful and very responsive to all my questions. Do not miss visiting the Trout Pond, we had a great time!
Immaculate cabin and extremely responsive and engaging hosts. Would come back.
Our group had a great time staying at the cabin. It is in a very peaceful location with nice views of the surrounding woods. The place is very clean and they provide all the basics you would need for a weekend. Our favorite part of the house was the screened in porch, which I’m sure is even better in the summer. Easy access to Trout Pond for hiking etc. Excellent communication from the hosts and very fast response time. Listing is very accurate and I would recommend.
What a Wonderful time we had. The cabin is Great and so peaceful. The screened in back porch is amazing, and the bedrooms are beautiful. It was everything we needed for a weekend getaway.

Hi everyone, My name is Kelly and I live in Washington, DC, with my husband and our three recently-adopted children. We live across the street from the Eastern Market Metro Station and rent out our downstairs apartment. We've been renting our DC apartment (underneath our house) since March 2012; we've begun renting our WV cabins since Jan. 2013. For tourists to DC, we have -- I have to admit! -- a pretty superb location in that you can be on the National Mall (the Smithsonian Museums) in less than 20 minutes. Historic Eastern Market is just a few blocks away. My husband works for the federal government, and I work for a global consulting firm supporting the federal government on sustainability issues. We enjoy bbq'ing outside when the weather is nice, going to the park with the kids, and simply being parents.
