Having never been to Port Isaac before, my husband and I thought we would have a long weekend away. Dianne and John are absolutely lovely, such a nice couple. They made us feel so welcome. I contacted Dianne 2-3 times before arriving asking for recommendations for different places to eat in the evening and also different places to visit. We were not disappointed, Dianne came back to me so quickly recommending The School House Hotel, also The Mote and The Golden Lion. we were not disappointed, the food was amazing. Dianne also dropped us into the village and collected us after a lovely evening out. They have a very beautiful cottage, all our needs were catered for. Our bedroom with en-suite was very clean, cosy and comfortable, breakfast was perfect, just what we would have wanted. Teddy their dog is just as lovely and well behaved. He is kept in their cottage unless he is invited to join us in the hall way for some fuss. I would 100% recommend staying here. We will return.

Dianne and John are great hosts with helpful tips for restaurants and places to visit.Served us a delicious breakfast each morning. Also John drove us to the restaurant in the evening and picked us up. Would highly recommend

Wow, one of two beautiful and comfortable rooms upstairs at Dianne & John's home ... a nice 10-15 minute walk from the village, and for us, a preferable location to being down IN the village. Amazing breakfasts prepared by Di, and "taxi service" as needed by John. Both very helpful with PI information. Cannot recommend more highly. Oh, and a parking spot in the driveway for your car ... try finding THAT down the hill!

Both Di and John were extremely friendly and helpful. Even took us down in their own car to Port Isaac village and picked us up after we had an evening meal in a pub. The whole cottage was immaculate. Everything had been thought of for possible guests needs. As I wrote in their visitors book: Just one word; SUPERB!

Di and John have created an incredibly special B&B. I stayed two nights with them to break up a stretch of the coast path walk. And what a place to stay! They were both so friendly and helpful, offering to run me down into the village and providing a host of local recommendations. The room was really well equipped, and the bed perhaps the comfiest I’ve ever slept in! Di’s scrambled egg was divine- powered me on my way when I had to sadly leave to keep walking!
