Host was amazing. The home and environment was beautiful. My stay was peaceful the only thing is there’s no air conditioning so the place during the day gets extremely hot but cooler at night. If you plan to go the beach or out during the day is great lil place. :)

The place was not ready upon arrival also other people were seen leaving this property chairs bottles and cans were all over property the person who was obviously trying to clean said his wife had to work so he had to fill in not acceptable. I did know the yard is shared not a problem but you do need your privacy especially during covid times i decided to cancel do to the place not being ready safety issues and protocals for covid not in place .I spoke to thr owner she was really nice and seemed unaware that other person were on her property the airbnb that i was supposed to stay in and said she would talk to whomever was there anyway day wasted she did refund back our deposit and seemed genuinely surprised and concerned .

Very responsive hosts! Be sure to get a Digicell sim card so you can use your phone data as a wifi backup, if you need consistent internet.

If you book this place, you will be staying in your very own Jamaican yard with Rasta neighbors (Cris, who owns the land, and his family) and a peek at true abundance: greenery, flowers, ocean, goats, dogs, chickens, and HORSES, all to be enjoyed from your lawn / veranda. The place was very clean upon our arrival and we were greeted by Cris who otherwise will communicate with you as much or little as you are open. It will be necessary to maintain your own cleanness in the house and everything is provided for that. You may see some native crawlies but this has nothing to do with the cleanliness of the bungalow and everything to do with the fact that it's a boathouse in Jamaica. Comes with the territory. Keep clean and know that you are receiving a full on local experience. When you go to those chain all-inclusives, it's kinda conveniently pretending you aren't in Jamaica. WiFi worked and was quickly addressed when down. Again, WiFi can be down at any point / anywhere in Jamaica. Has nothing to do with the home or hosts. There is a steep hill that leads to the house and some reviews mentioned it as an issue. We easily traversed the hill by car, motorbike, and horse. Any sort of properly operating vehicle should make it up the hill without issue. And it's really not the steepest hill you can imagine. Easy walk / ride to everything you need in the area. Love the views, convenient layout of the house, privacy, romantic vibes, and quiet / working neighborhood. We cooked everyday. We washed our own clothes and hung them out to dry. We showered when sweaty. We danced on the veranda. And we slept soundly on comfortable beds to wake up the next morning and do it all again, with a view of the sea. When I left it definitely felt like leaving home. Couldn't have asked for better. Amy and Tim will respond at a ridiculously fast rate to any questions or issues that arise, from the point of booking up to checkout. I've not had a better AirBNB experience. So glad I chose this place!

Basic but bright and airy cabin in a non-touristy area. Beautiful view! Amy did everything to resolve any issue immediately!
