The Gem Negril is a peaceful and beautiful getaway spot. Great location, we walked to 7 mile beach, the town, and nearby restaurants. 5 minute walk from West End Road to get a cab. Peter was very responsive and helpful, he connected us with a snorkling tour. We enjoyed the outside patio for breakfast, relaxing in the afternoon, and watching the skies change color at night.

This place was very immaculate and quiet!! It comes with a nice porch and a view of the garden and ocean. The room is very spacious with a nice comfortable bed, the kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom has a shower with hot & cold water. And it has excellent wifi too! The host, Peter, is a very helpful & genuine guy who made sure we were comfortable. We forgot an item in the room when we left Negril and Peter was kind enough to put it on the Knutsford bus to Ochi for us, which was very much appreciated. When we come back to Negril, we will be staying at Peter's guesthouse again.

Nice place to stay with a friendly, helpful host. The value for money is good and the location is conveniently near downtown. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean. Check in was also easy and communication was always fast. The only slight negative is the place is very humid even with the windows open, so maybe another fan would be nice. The internet was also on the slow side but it was usable and was mostly reliable. So, overall it was a nice stay which I can recommend going to.

Peter was super kind and helpfull, thank you for that! we felt safe and had a great stay in negril. the only things: no AC we had a fan, but still sometimes it was really warm in the appartment. the sheets was a bit dirty when we arrived. But for the price we was super happy!
