Shasta’s place was exactly what we need it. The kitchen was full equipped and had everything you need for a longer stay. It had a spacious room with sitting area, divided by a door there was the kitchen and table and chairs. She even added some cold welcome water, which came much needed after a long drive. The water pressure was good and had hot water. The bed was amazingly comfortable, I had some great sleep. The AC wasn’t as powerful but with the Fan it was more than enough to keep you cool. Shasta’s place is a gated area, part of a small community which gives you privacy. She has a cute patio with some trees and chair exactly as the photo. 7 minute walk was the famous Rick’s cafe and shark’s Restaurant offers great breakfast at a good price. I highly recommend to stop by! It is 15 minute drive by car to 7 mile beach. Shasta’s was very accommodating and quick to respond. I really enjoyed her place, quiet and private with private parking.

Shasta's place was a perfect little cottage for a couple to stay for a week in Negril. The AC and wifi worked great, and the little backyard was a great space to hang out in. Negril can be noisy with cars honking and dogs barking, so I'd recommend bringing earplugs to anyone who stays. Shasta and her brother Scott who ended up doing our airport pickup/drop off were lovely hosts that were quick to respond and always had local recommendations. Would stay here again!

An amazing private cottage! Very clean, kitchen had everything you needed if you wanted to cook at home. Cottage’s location was perfect, walkable to many restaurants, convenience stores and if you needed a taxi the price was reasonable! Shasta provided instructions to find the cottage ( we booked Scott to pick us up from the airport and drive us back. He was amazing, very helpful!), restaurants and stores were recommended. We truly felt at home and very safe which made our vacation so relaxing. Highly recommend this cottage rental and would love to book it again!!

Great space. Nice and quaint. Private but still in close proximity to restaurants, bars and entertainment. Stay was made even better having a responsive host. I’d definitely stay at the Emerald again.

Shasta was a great host. She communicated well. She helped us connect with people who could help us have a nice time. The house book had useful and relevant information. The place was clean and set up well. Several times, we walked to meals at 3dives, ricks, and sips and bites. The route taxis made travel easier. We had a nice stay at the emerald.
