La ubicación y amabilidad del anfitrión son maravillosos, siempre estuvo en contacto conmigo y al pendiente de cualquier situación. La habitación es tal como se anuncia y de verdad es maravilloso como todo queda a unos minutos en pie. Gran recomendación

Old building but good location!

We had a nice stay with Lourdes and Curro. Their apartment is in a great location about a 5 minute walk from the Royal Mile. You can tell they take care to keep the place clean. Because they live there they have everything you need to cook. They even provided us with some space in the cabinet and fridge to keep food. The only thing we didn’t love was that the handsoap in the bathroom was really diluted with water. Really a minor issue at the end of the day but would’ve been nice to have real soap. The listing also said breakfast was included and we didn’t get breakfast but maybe they don’t anymore and didn’t get the chance to change it. Not a big deal for me because I love to make eggs. They weren’t around to greet us and show us around the place so they had their friends do it and they were lovely. They were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Both kept mostly to themselves and were quiet. I didn’t meet Lourdes until we were about to leave which is a shame because she’s so warm and kind. Would recommend as an affordable option especially during the Fringe (when we came).

Good location, only 5 min. walk from the Royal Mile and approx. 20 min from the Castle. Calm neighbourhood with underground parking in the street. Lourdes gave us good informations about getting there,... Although the building is very old, she tries her best to keep everything tidy. We were only looking for a place to sleep and take a shower, so for us, it was enough, but don't expect the big luxe.

Recommended to stay here if you're visiting Edinburgh. Everything is in walking distance and the hosts are really friendly!
