A spectacular stay at High Snab Farm. Incredible views, spotless cottage accommodation, friendly hosts and amazing walks straight from the door. We loved our stay here and it was the perfect Lake District holiday.

As walkers we stay in a lot of cottages but this is one of the very best and is now a firm favourite. The location and views are simply stunning but the cottage itself is also extremely comfortable and very well kitted out. Everything is of the very highest standard from the friendly welcome to the fruit, milk, eggs left for us. We loved this place and can't recommend it highly enough. It also has the significant advantage of being able to walk out of the door onto some of the best walking in the UK.

A tranquil haven to come back to after a day of hiking on the fells in windy and wet weather. The fire was such a warm and cosy place to read a book by and the views across the valley are superb. I really loved staying here- the cute new born lambs in the fields were an extra bonus!

Heaven on Earth would be the expression to use. 15 minutes from Keswick on a beautiful sheep farm in the most stunning countryside. Immaculate accommodation with well stock kitchen and generous 'welcome pack'. Within easy reach of big walks such as Skiddaw, Great Gable, Scafell Pike, Helvellyn, Cat Bells, plus walks straight out of the door. Private space and garden area with extensive views. Cosy, warm and all that is needed. Very welcoming hosts. Would highly recommend for peace and quiet. The photos say it all.
