Our stay at Melissa and Ed's beautiful casita exceeded all of our expectations. They were both the consumate hosts, helpful, kind and so attentive. Their cozy, warm and charming home has every amenity needed and the land it sits on is breathtaking beautiful and so very peaceful. The location could not be more convenient, close to the center of town, great restaurants and shops. We loved every minute of our seven day stay here and we can't wait to return!

We stayed at Ed and Melissa’s Casita for 8 nights. The purpose of our trip was to visit Ski Valley and check out the town of Taos. We went back and forth about staying in the village versus staying in town or splitting the difference. In the end we decided to stay at Ed and Melissa’s and what a great decision it turned out to be. Their farm is situated about a 5 minute drive from the town. It felt remote enough that the setting was peaceful and quiet yet so close and convenient to all the amenities Taos has to offer. The farm is also situated just a short walk from several trails. The Casita itself was very clean and well equipped for our 8 night visit but could accommodate an even longer stay. Taos Ski Valley was a short 35 min drive away. It was a great time in Taos with a very comfortable accommodation. We already miss the Casita and will miss having Bacon greet us outside. When we come back to Taos Ed and Melissa’s place will be at the top of the list.

This is a beautiful little casita--perfect size for 1-2 people with absolutely lovely hosts. The casita is five minutes from downtown Taos, yet very quiet with spectacular views of the mountains. My every need was met.

Ed and Melissa are among the most gracious, welcoming and helpful hosts that we’ve encountered. The casita is tastefully furnished, light and airy, and a short, easy drive to town. From the many small touches such as a night light in the bathroom, nice hand soaps, boxes of Kleenex, and food treats including Peet’s coffee and Melissa’s spiced pecans, it’s evident that Ed and Melissa have been thoughtful about their guests’ comfort. We very much enjoyed our stay here. It’s a lovely location from which to explore the Taos area.

Ed’s place was the best. The casita was so cozy and comfortable for us. We loved just being at the property. It was so peaceful. We loved getting up each morning and gathering up fresh organic vegetables for our omelets and salads. We were also welcome to cut fresh flowers to decorate our home away from home. We felt so fortunate to have the casita for our week vacation. The location was great. It felt so far away from the hustle and bustle but actually only a mile and a half from the plaza. We are already dreaming of our next stay. A big thank you to both Ed and Melissa for such a warm, welcoming place to stay in Taos.
